How do evolutionary dynamics give rise to the emergent patterns of genetic diversity? I study theoretical models to understand what can happen and leverage genomic data to learn what does happen in evolving populations of cells and organisms – from microbes to cancer.

Currently, I am a graduate student in the Biology PhD program at Stanford University, advised by Benjamin Good and Dmitri Petrov. Prior to starting graduate school, I was a research assistant with Fyodor Kondrashov, who first introduced me to population genetics. I hold a BSc in Physics from Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University.
